住在澳洲的友人特地選一些台灣無人代理的品牌酒款，帶來台灣請我品嚐。
入口一開始的甘甜與順口，容易讓人親近，會以為是Merlot為主的酒款，可是接著dry開始搶鋒頭，那是以Cabernet Sauvignon為主的酒款囉？錯了，跟空氣接觸一陣之後，帶有辛香料的香氣跟刺激感持續到最後，這是一款Shiraz佔70%的酒款，Shiraz佔比如此高，卻不會覺得辛辣，看了背標說明，原來它的Shiraz是老藤級的，難怪年輕酒卻不澀不嗆辣，酒精也不刺鼻。喝完後口腔會留下酸度，這是一款口感比較複雜的酒。
對光線看呈亮紅色，是年輕酒。酒體屬中間，單寧柔順、纖細，老藤的影響很大。口感甘甜，成熟黑漿果香四溢，還帶有一點木桶的香氣，尾韻呈現酸度。
老婆說這款酒有甜有酸，是她近期喝過最好喝的一款紅酒。我說當然，我們平常喝的多是500-1000大洋的酒，這款酒官網定價$50美金，至少=1500台幣，按台灣行情，售價大概要2000-3000大洋，等級自然比較高。以前我就跟她說也要買幾瓶高一兩級的酒款，才能實際體驗比較出酒質的高低。是把儲存的好酒拿出來喝的時候了。

隔了近3年再喝這款酒，基本口感跟上次喝差不多。不過這次喝香很多，剛開瓶就聞到香氣，連用真空瓶塞蓋上，把空氣打出來時，都聞得到酒香跟著空氣一起出來。
老婆說這款酒有甘甜有酸度，是她喜歡的口感。

Keyneton Euphonium combines old-vine shiraz, cabernet sauvignon and merlot in a regional Babossa blend showing rich, darkfruit, complex structure, texture and mature fine-grained tannins.
This wine's name links the Henschke home village of Keyneton, pioneered by pastoralist Joseph Keyneton in 1842, and the 100-year-old B flat euphonium, a large brass wind instrument used by the Henschke Family Brass Band, still in the family's prossession.
Deep red magenta in colour. An intense nose of dark forest fruits, plums, dried herbs and spices with hints of anise, cassis and cedar. The concentrated palate is lush and rich showing bright fruit characters; nicely textured with velvety tannins, elegant structure and long a finish.
